Steam is not updating
We've been having issues with the Steam Crawling for Achievements recently within the last few months.
No data file is being created for me in the steam folder so its not like I can delete it from there as well. Last achievement I have is from October 6th, from Dishonored.I'm guessing by the month of no reply to my last post, that this is not a priority at all for Raptr. I used to pimp this thing everyplace...I tell people don't bother. As for the things I have tried: Deleted the installing game, tried with Loadout, DOTA 2, Torchlight 2, and Dark Souls 2, Deleted all download files for the downloading game in the Steam folder, and ran steam://flushconfig after windows r. Steam will always check for updates on startup and download and install them automatically to ensure that you're running the latest version.I haven't had a single achievment update for steam since September.
Even my achievement gamer card hasn't updated since then.
Make sure that the download is paused and right click Dota 2, click properties and a new window will open.
Click the local files tab and you should see an option to verify integrity of game cache.
Another thing that is mentioned in the Steam forums, is allowing Steam to verify all of its files and then closing Steam properly (rather than letting Windows kill it as it shuts down).
What you'd do here is wait however long it normally takes to verify files and get into the main Steam interface, and then close Steam with the menu option (or system tray icon) before restarting it.
Wait for this to complete and then resume your download.
