How do I reset the text in the Progress Template to only display the 'Please wait...' message and NOT the 'Processing...complete' message also?
Experience Required High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The WHERE clause specifies which record(s) that should be updated.I have a simple application that is written in C# using VS2012, in a web forms application. In ADO, this object is the most important and the one used most often to manipulate data from a database. When you first open a Recordset, the current record pointer will point to the first record and the BOF and EOF properties are False. These controls allow page developers to declaratively access and modify data without writing any code to perform the data access. ) Filtering Database Data with Parameters, an earlier installment in this article series, showed how to filter the data returned by ASP. In a nutshell, the data source controls can include parameterized queries whose parameter values are defined via parameter controls.
This article is one in a series of articles on ASP. For example, the Sql Data Source can include a parameterized is a parameter; the value for a parameter can be defined declaratively using a parameter control. NET offers a variety of parameter controls, including ones that use hard-coded values, ones that retrieve values from the querystring, and ones that retrieve values from session, and others.
Moreover, if you are using the selected Check Box List items to query a database you'll quickly find that SQL does not offer out of the box functionality for filtering results based on a user-supplied list of filter criteria.
The good news is that with a little bit of effort it is possible to filter data based on the end user's selections in a Check Box List control.
Thanks UPDATED REQUIREMENTS I have changed my requirements a little. I added a label in the Progress Template to display an initial message when the processing starts and then another message using the lbl Caption label when the processing completes.
However, when the button is clicked a second time, both of the messages are shown: 'Please wait while the files are created...' and 'Processing...completed'.
Experience Required Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
